24-hour pharmacies in Penang (farmasi 24 jam): which ones publish round-the-clock hours
Penang pharmacies whose own page says they open 24 hours, all of them inside hospitals; some say the night service is only for the hospital's own patients. Name, address, hours and phone exactly as each publishes them.

Five pharmacies in Penang say on their own pages that they open 24 hours. All five are inside hospitals: one private hospital on the island and four government hospitals. Two say the 24-hour service is for the hospital's own patients, such as people from its emergency department; the other three do not say who it serves.

What each page says about who it serves:
- Hospital Balik Pulau lists its specialist clinic pharmacy counter as open every day, 24 hours. A separate satellite counter for emergency department patients opens Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- Hospital Lam Wah Ee says its pharmacy department serves outpatients and inpatients through two outpatient pharmacies. It lists the ground floor pharmacy as open 24 hours and the 1st floor pharmacy as open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, closed on Sundays and public holidays. The page does not say whether the ground floor pharmacy fills prescriptions from other doctors.
- Hospital Pulau Pinang publishes its pharmacy hours as images on its pharmacy page. They list the specialist clinic pharmacy (FKP) as open 24 hours every day, including weekends and public holidays, and its other counters for shorter hours. The page does not say who the 24-hour counter serves.
- Hospital Seberang Jaya says its specialist clinic pharmacy counter began a 24-hour service on 1 November 2012 for patients of the emergency department, patients from the wards and patients on its Blue Card appointment system. The service also covers drug and poison information.
- Hospital Sungai Bakap says its pharmacy works office hours, but its ambulatory pharmacy keeps the counter open 24 hours for cases from the emergency and trauma department.
