Hi Kayes / Penang Talkers,
Am thinking of making a trip to Pg in november, staying at the Northam.Is any building work going on opposite that might affect the peace and quiet of the area? I remember a vacant lot opposite that looked ripe for development.

hello Potter, at the junction of Kelawei Road and Gurney Drive, there is some piling going on. I think a new condo is coming up there. It is not directly opposite the Northam though.

Overtime Bar & Restaurant is everywhere - KL, Ipoh and in Penang I saw there is one along Gurney Drive, next to a Mamak Restaurant. Business must be good for this bar which is owned by Bosco Wong - a Hong Kong actor.
