The 11 years that I have spent at CLS, my alma-mater, has been among the Best-Times-of-my-Life. I came to realize that the little things that the school has taught me are infact part and parcel of A BIG PLAN to groom us from little girls to responsible and useful adults. It provided us with the foundation to go on with life and to become a reasonably good, stable and well-balanced human-beings. I met wonderful friends at CLS, whom I still keep in-touch with today and whose friendships still remain very very special and meaningful to me. And for those friends and CLS teachers whom I have unfortunately not kept-in-touch with, I cannot say that I have forgotten them because every now and then, flashes-of-the-past come into my mind and that is when I still see their faces again. Moments like these will ALWAYS bring a smile on my face. I think it is quite obvious that I had a mighty good time at CLS!!...

"It is not what we have that matters but who we are that's important." This is one of the most important things i learnt in my 5 years in cls (secondary). This is a school that has brought all the wonderful memories and life's experiences i now hold. It was here that i was given the chance to bring out the talents and qualities i have through all the co-curricular activities and the language weeks held by the school- constant encouragement given by the principal and teachers to students to participate in activities to enhance our growth in the many aspects of life. And you can always hear working adults lament that secondary school years are the best and one that they would always treasure. The great times i had are going to be something i'll treasure forever...the friends i had (the choice times and not so choice times we shared), the nuns who taught us cathechism, the principal and teachers who so dedicatedly taught us (be it giving us a real huge scolding or just having the laughs with us),the chapel that students go to especially during exam times...this is one great part of my life that i will take with me wherever i journey to. And see the school doing so well and looking so majestic in its place, it makes me so proud to have been there amongst the thousands of girls who had and who still are studying there. it is us students, together with the teaching staff that do the school proud. keep up the good work fellow collistrians! class of 1994

Basically cls is known for many reasons. For example academic sucsess, sports achievemaents and other curricullum activities like debate contests.Speaking of that your school has a rock-solid team...consisting of Prita N, Fatimah N and Audrey Tang. Well last year my school(smh)lost to your school in a debate contest..Well i out of words at the moment.Lastly best of luck to your school students especially d&d

Convent Light Street was where American Prisionors from a submarine were held during WWII. If you can wrangle permission from the scool they will take you to one of the class rooms, that held them. You can still see where they carved their names and their is a small memorial to the men, along with some photos, and news stories..

I have spent my schooling years here frm the year of 1977 till 1988. Itwas the best time I had ever and the school itself lots of fundemental value which are very historical. I must must say that I have always and still am proud to be a 'CLS'!!!!!

Spent my best formative years in this school. I'm glad my parents chose to send me there. My feelings towards CLS is memorable and sentimental. I'm proud to be a part of this legacy of which the values that has been imparted to me has made me what I am today. Thank you CLS and the dedicated nuns and teachers. Year 1982

Wow! This lady has left school since 1931 but her school leaving certificate is still so well kept and intact! The only item I am still keeping that reminds me about my alma mater is an exercise book. Smile
