Kayes, Please indicate where Khoo Kongsi, the General Post Office, Downing and Beach Sreets are? What is the building with the tower overlooking the sea? Thanks.

hi Ann, divide the above pic into four. You can see the Khoo Kongsi in the right lower portion. It is at the top left of that right lower portion. The GPO along Downing Street is not shown in pic but it is just to the left of the top left portion. If you are referring to the "tower" shown in the top left portion, it is actually a clock tower at the Customs building which is at the junction of Weld Quay and China Street. Hope this helps Smile

hi Lynda, pic was taken from Komtar.

Thanks Kayes. With the help of a magnifying glass I can now see Khoo Kongsi. I find aerial views useful as they give you a sense of direction of where places are. I should be able to locate more places during my walks.

Old & New; Land @ Sea - my perception of Pearl of the Orient and it is all captured in this valuable shot! Good eye with strong artistic feel. Thanks for sharing, Kayes!

Those multi shades and tones of the old roof tiles are an art in itself. Love them but not sure what others think. The minaret of the Acheen Street Mosque stands out distinguishly among those artistic roof tiles. Love it!
