The single bungalow at the far end of this pic. is (or was) a clinic where patients can park their cars within the clinic compound. I think it has turned into a vet. clinic (not very sure) when I visited Penang last.

One of shops along this row sells beach wear. If anyone comes to Penang for holidays unprepared (not very likely I suppose) one can get beach wears easily and conveniently from here.

hi Susan, the clinic was further to the left of pic. Now the building is vacant. No more doc and no more vet. A couple of shops along this row sell beach wear but Ericca (one of the shops that sold beach wear) closed recently and a "Bulgaria" restaurant has come up which opened for business only a few days ago. This new restaurant is next to Ingolf's. Have you eaten at Ingolf's before? I know the chef, Julian very well.
