When we returned to Penang in 1990 it was chinese New Year and we were staying at the Orchid Hotel, now the Copthorne Orchid. We enjoyed the celebrations immensely
as then we had the firecrackers along with the lion dances. Unfortunatly now the firecrackers have been banned but I still think some people let them off.

Derrick, next Chinese New Year is just a month away. Plenty of lion dances to see .... and lots of fire crackers Smile
