One of these homes was where I had relatives; must check out which. As a kid I recalled visiting and they had a mini piggery in the rear section! Each jetty had its surname (hence the clan jetties), but I dont know if they are Chews or their family names ... is there a Yap jetty, I wonder.

While driving past this area, noticed there is a Mixed Surnames Jetty. Presumably, it's for those surnames like Toh; Cheok; Beh; Yim .....
