During the early 90's, six of us checked into this Malaysia Hotel without prior booking. We occupied 2 family rooms. Each family room consists of a double bed and a single bed. Malaysia Hotel is not a new hotel but their pure white towels and bed linen were clean and looked new. Their family rooms are spacious too! We were told there is Lion Dance during every Chinese New Year Eve just before 12mid night at this hotel.

Shahul Hameed Restoran (shown in this pic.) which is right in front of Malayisa Hotel serves the best 'Sup Ayam' and 'Sup Kambing'. We got to savour the piping hot soup by just walking across from the hotel during wee hours and in our casual attire! Smile When we stayed at Malaysia Hotel, we just walked, explored and enjoyed all the yummy food around this entire area. Will definitely do the same again!
