went to visit the market while I was there (I guess most visitors do) but while I wasn't particularly keen on it there were some interesting batik artists who I chatted to.


however, my memory of batu ferringhi is a food stall just on a small road to the left of the main road as you come into b/f. There's a bar on the corner but halfway up on the left hand side of that road is a small food stall run by the most friendly woman in the world. really helpful with explaining in perfect English what all the food she was selling was and it was lovely.


and the crime of it all is that she's almost giving it away it's so cheap in comparison to food here in England. She deserves to do well Smile
