The big rain tree that greets you at the entrance has been declared clinically dead and to prevent its rotting branches from falling on visitors just as they step into the garden, the precarious branches have been cut off.

Hypy, I don't see many birders at the Botanic Garden. They all seem to go to the Telok Bahang area at the Forest Reserve.
