Do you know that someone is buried inside the Francis Xavier Church in Penang Road, next to Cititel? The gravestone is right at the front entrance of the church and many people would have stepped on it.

Curious to know more about this. Wonder why this is allowed - "many people would have stepped on it"?

Isn't this church nearer to Bayview than Cititel since St. Xavier Inst. is almost opposite to Bayview?

hello Orange, St Xavier's Institution and the Francis Xavier Church are two different entities. The former is a school while the latter is a church. The church is right next to Cititel (on the right facing Cititel) and you need to walk through a narrow lane to see the church and the St Joseph's Boys Home.

Thanks Kayes for the clarification. Earlier on, I presumed this church shares the same compound with St. Xavier's Inst., based on the name. Smile Hope someone will shed some light about the gravestone at the entrance of this church. Thanks again for this pic. and the caption.
