This sweet lady is looking very 'ayu' with her baju kebaya, kain sarung and kasut manik. Tali pinggang made of silver, copper or gold plated is used to fasten the kain sarung.

Baju kebaya is made of silk or kain rubiah, embroided with silk thread of vairous colours. It is worn with kerosong - a set of 3 brooches.

The kain sarung is usually colourful with flowers, leaves, birds or butterflies as motifs. The designs on the kain sarung are divided into front and back. We have been told by looking at the designs on the kain sarung, we know if the wearer is a single lady or married. These are two sets of designs on one piece of kain sarung. She can choose which set of design on the kain sarung to be worn in front and from this design we can know if she is single or married.

Kasut Manik is an art in itself. These open faced or closed faced beaded slippers are all hand-made from silk cloth, gold thread and multi coloured beads. During the olden days, all unmarried ladies know how to make Kasut Manik for their own weddings.
