Favourite pastime for these ladies of leisure are playing mahjong, making nyonya kueh while waiting for their husbands to come home from work and match-making. Yes, matching-making for their children among the Peranakan.


These lovely ladies are usually very well dressed. Notice the gold shoes the lady on the left is wearing - and they are having the tete-a-tete at home.
