It has come a long way and with modernity ..... Lotus glows in the dark!
From the many Chinese poems and paintings, lotus symbolise purity - growing and rising from muddy water and yet the lotus contains no trace of impurity. How many of us can attain this state of nobility? It is more so with today's negative influences. We are surrounded by materialistic temptations, greed, hate, anger and jealousy. Can we rise above all these - just like lotus? ..... Even this lotus is artificial!!
