This clansman is wearing the colours of a Scottish clan; guess which one?

Most likely MacGregor. If it is McDonald's, he would be eating a prosperity burger Smile

Not sure if he fancies McD's prosperity burger but this early rising resident's smile tells us he is sitting at the right spot and correct direction to welcome the God of Prosperity since CNY is just around the corner. Or perhaps the God of Prosperity has already arrived - his broad smile, smart attire and accessories confirm it. Smile

I must check family history; might be prosperous long lost uncle. I remember going to one of these jettys in my childhood each CNY to pay respects to some relation ... which one, which home, who, no one seems to know/remember. No tartan colors nor burgers those days though. They did rear pigs, thats one highlight I recall vividly, yes on the jetty (rear section)!

There are 100 Chinese surnames. Top in the list is Chan (Chen, Chin, Tan, Ding) due to different in pronunciation and dialect). After Chan is Lee, Chong, Wong, Ho .....

It's interesting to know there is a Mixed Surname Jetty in Weld Quay. I don't think our family have any relatives (friends perhaps) from Mixed Surname Jetty or unless there is any female relative of ours married someone from this Jetty.
