Mosaic floor, floral tiles on the pillar, Fah (flower) Kei (special or unique) Yee (chairs) and marble top tables are indeed typical scene from coffee shop.

People go to coffee shop to eat or to drink coffee but we go to coffee shop to visit relatives. That's why we go to coffee shops during Chinese New Year and we even stay for few days (usually at the upstairs of the coffee shop) during school holidays if the coffee shop is in rural area.

Scene from this pic. is slowly fading away. This black and white pic. from Kayes brings back many fond memories. Thanks for sharing!
