haha Phoebe, Tiger may be a good beer but they never got that Carlsberg's svelte Long Cool Dane Smile I loved that ad. It was so soothing.

I was just thinking .... the Tiger beer ads were so unmemorable that I can't recall a single one. Jim? Help?

P.S. I suddenly remembered those Guinness ads with those beautiful girls in cheongsam.

"Guinness Stout is good for you;
Puts back what the day takes out."

&

"Carlsberg, come up to Carlsberg;
Move into the world of the Long Cool Dane."

Not sure if I've got all the words right, though. Smile

I think you got every word spot on! I now can remember the tune of that Carlsberg ad. Humming it now Smile I wonder whether it was an Ogilvy & Mather ad?

Oh, really? I've not seen nor heard the Carlsberg ad since the '70s. For some reason, the words just came to me. I can still picture the closing scene with that mermaid on the rock.

That proves how good the ad is. I still can't remember any Tiger beer ad Sad
