"Greetings ...


Dave Kattenburg's my name. I'm an independent researcher/broadcaster based in Winnipeg, Canada, in the process of researching a story about a pair of yachters (a Canadian and a Kiwi) who met an untimely end in Cambodian waters in August 1978. The two sailed in and out of Penang on various occasions between 1976 and 79.


I'm wondering -- this is needle-in-haystack business -- whether you might be able to help me out with recollections of the 77-79 yachting scene in Penang, or refer me to someone who might have worked with, re-provisioned, yachts during this period.
