Yup, I remembered that mee rebus guy selling in front of the Paramount Hotel, Jalan Northam(now Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah). As Bock said, he shifted to CRC more than 20 years ago. I don't know whether he is still there.As for the other mee rebus in Jalan Ayer Itam, directly opposite the road leading to the Ayer Itam Reservoir, he is still there although he has shifted slightly further up, but, nevertheless, still around thereabout. I prefer this guy's mee rebus rather than the one behind the CRC(side entrance) though.
As for mee jawa, I prefer the mee jawa made by the Malays rather than those made by the Chinese. The Malay 'version' has more 'kick' to it. Anybody knows good Malay mee Jawa anywhere?
