in Telok Bahang and on this thread I have posted some pics of that place. There is no damage to the Mutiara or to its beach. The Golden Sands is in Batu Ferringhi and it is also unharmed in any way. Check this thread for pics. The Mutiara is a more private hotel while the Golden Sands is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, hawker centres, street market etc etc. If you like plenty of things to do, stay at the Golden Sands. If you are on your honeymoon, check into the Mutiara. Best wishes, kayes.
