I believed everyone would have their stories to tell in regards to Taikor Seng. He lived & breathed Alfas, literally till his last day. His so-called 'workshop, is merely a shed under a big shady tree, sharing a spot with a Tata dealer along Jalan Bendahara (not too far from Yee Lee Autoparts)
His usual comment was "Only sochai will drive Alfas!" as problems will usually start from the day you start owning one. I did show some of Kayes's heyday photo collection and you won't believe how his eyes brimmed enthusiastically. Even asked me, "You know who's the handsome guy standing in the centre? It's me la pk!!" (no pun intended) I guessed glory has faded and memories are faint but when someone young like me reminded him of the colourful past, it has indeed revived him. (Well, at least my carburetors runs smoother & much powerful after that)
Kayes, do you mind if I seek your permission to post this photo of him in another site? Much appreciated.
