To all classic Alfisti who knows Taikor Seng personally, he passed away in his sleep this morning, 4th August 2010. For those who may not heard of him, he was the chief foreman/mechanic for City Motor Ipoh during the glory years of 60's & 70's. People may read him as loud & brash but his no-nonsense approach to cars was indisputable. He single-handedly involved in City Motor Racing Team and was sent to Autodelta in Italy to build the legendary GTAm. His knowledge of classic Alfas & engine tuning are second to none.
I've heard a lot about him since I was a kid and only known him personally recently after my purchase of 1600 GTJ. Although his final years were not as glorified as the olden days, he had well served the local Alfa Romeo scene and may God rest his soul in peace.
