It's my second choice if I can't get a 105 series Alfa ;) Proportionately quite good and being a coupe, still offer some sportiness at a reasonable price!

I guess this again shows the Malaysia Boleh attitude, they didnt lose anything through the scrapage scheme as it was a governement incentive.

I am currently in the UK and how these scrapage scheme works here is that these cars will be passed on to a scrapyard, you can still buy the car and restore it if you want to, passing the strict MOT is another matter, but the important thing is you are able to save these classics from dying a horrible death!

The thing is, if you can get more from selling it, why scrap it? It makes good sense to get some $$$ back for as long as there is a proper system in place and not some shaddy deals.

About the VSS, it was an economic booster and at the same time to retire those non-road worthy cars, but if it could be restored then I feel it should be given a new lease of life and be sold. However, the title must be blacklisted from future VSS thus there wont be a quick-money scheme going on i.e. buying these cars, then claiming the VSS again, then buying the same car back and repeating it ;)

Regards,
Ben Lai
