1954 Nash and Hudson merged together and form the American Motors Corporation and built Metropolitan, body was built by Pininfarina and were assembled by Austin in U.K using mechanical parts from the Austin A40, engine 1200 c.c. overhead valve unit produced 43 bhp, when British Motor Corporation of which Austin was part, brought out a 1500 c.c. engine.This is a fixed head coupe, number made: 104,368. |
